                • Game Play
                  • Levels
                    • The game is separated into 20 levels.
                    • You can only play them in order. Once a level has been beat you can’t go back and play it again until you play through all 20.
                      • Basic rules
                        • Break all the bricks on the upper half of the level before the timer runs out to win.
                          • You can see the final count of bricks on the top left corner of the screen.
                          • You have 3 minutes to clear the stack. See your remaining time on the top right corner.
                          • Launch balls onto the bricks to break them.
                            • Keep the ball in play by catching them with the paddle.
                            • Without a power up, it may take several tries to break a ball.
                            • Collect power ups as they fall to improve your game.
                            • Paddle angle
                              • If the ball hits the paddle from its face, it goes up.
                              • If the ball hits the paddle from the sides, it flies off in an angle.
                              • You must hit the ball with the middle part of the paddle. Trying to hit with the unicorns on either side will miss the ball.
                              • Lives
                                • You start off with 3 hearts. Each time you drop a ball, you lose one heart.
                                • Lose all your hearts and it’s game over.
                                • When playing several balls at once, you lose a heart only when the last ball has fallen down.
                                • Level features
                                  • Unbreakable bricks
                                    • These gray bricks count as obstacles. The balls bounce off them but can’t break them without a power up.
                                    • You must shoot the balls around them (or have the flame power up activated) to get to the bricks behind them.
                                    • Use them as a level feature. Try to get the ball stuck above them and have them do work for you. You are not required to break these bricks & they don’t count against your final brick count.
                                    • Bombs
                                      • Bombs are found walled behind several bricks.
                                      • Trigger the bombs to clear large areas of the brick stack immediately.
                                      • Power ups
                                        • Power ups are generated as you break more bricks. You can get a lot of them at once if you break several bricks at once.
                                        • Catch a power up with the paddle as they fall to activate them.
                                        • Most power ups provide beneficial effects.
                                          • Flame power ups bolster the power and speed of your balls. This ball keeps going straight and destroys all normal bricks in a single hit as it passes through them. This has the ability to break the metallic gray bricks, but it changes directions after it breaks one.
                                          • Rainbow ball powerups make your balls travel faster. These allow your ball to break normal bricks in a single hit rather than taking 3.
                                          • Extra balls let you play several balls at once. This lets you destroy more blocks while only focusing on one ball.
                                          • Some power ups increase or decrease the length of your paddle.
                                            • In most circumstances, it’s the increased length power ups (+) that works better.
                                            • Decreasing the length of the paddle (-) may be a drawback unless your paddle is too long.
                                            • Clock power ups add more time to your game.
                                            • Heart power ups gives you an extra life.
                                            • Coin power ups bolster your score.
                                            • Guard power ups adds a large stopper in the bottom of the screen, which can temporarily prevent a game over. It acts as a large paddle for the balls that hit it.
                                            • The missile power up lets both ends of your paddle shoot at the brick stack by itself.
                                            • Power ups that affect the balls don’t stack.
                                              • If you collect the flame power up, it will supersede the rainbow power up, and vice versa.
                                              • If you collect an extra ball and then pick up a ball power up, both balls will have the effects.
                                              • Power ups only activate when the balls are in play. If one ball already has an active power up, the next ball won’t have it.
                                              • If you lose your ball and have the missile power up active you can still keep shooting missiles without firing the next ball into play.
                                              • Power ups that protect the paddle do stack. Your paddle can be long and have missiles.
                                              • You’ll often need to activate several power ups at once to clear the entire stack before the timer runs out.
                                              • Scoring
                                                • Your game score is cumulative across all plays of all levels.
                                                • If you lose all your lives or run out of time it is game over, but the game offers unlimited continues.
                                                • When you continue you retain the score you had when you lost the current level & resume play on it, so technically if you were going for the maximum game score it would make sense to intentionally lose levels to repeat them and score more points.
                                                  • If you close the web browser and restart you will still play on the furthest level you reached but the score resets to zero.
                                                  • Strategy and tips
                                                    • Don’t let the ball fall. Instead, get the ball to the upper levels and let it do most of the breaking.
                                                    • Use several balls at once to multitask.
                                                      • Let the other ball do some of the work. Don’t pay too much attention to it.
                                                      • Make sure that one ball remains in play so you don’t lose a life.
                                                      • Prioritize some power ups over others.
                                                        • We recommend the shield power up first. Choosing it will prevent the ball from falling and keep it in play. This is especially useful if you have several power ups at once.
                                                        • Choose the rainbow and flame power ups as they immediately clear several tiles all at once. They will also create a cascade of new power ups to collect.
                                                        • The missile power up is useful in clearing the stack without launching the balls. If you drop the balls while the power-up is on, don’t release the balls until the paddle is done launching missiles.
                                                        • Collect extra hearts and time to lengthen your playtime. That said, don’t risk the ball to pick up an extra life.
                                                        • Don’t pay too much attention to the paddle length power ups.
                                                        • You can gain a lot of extra time and lives in this game by collecting the falling power ups.
                                                        • Be warned. Taking out too many bricks at once can make the level appear confusing.
                                                        • Target Audience
                                                          • The game is suited for players who like brick breaking games.
                                                          • The game has no adult themed content.
