Play Head Soccer online for free. Head Soccer is a 1 vs 1 soccer video game where you can play against a friend or play in a 5-match tournament against the computer. Each match lasts 44 seconds and tied games immediately go into sudden death. This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Press the PLAY button on the game’s welcome screen to bring up the mode select screen.
Choose to play 1 or 2 players on the mode select screen.
Select the country you would like to represent on the character select screen. Countries in this game include Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay, Yemen, Italy, United States, Portugal, France, Germany & Senegal.
Game Controls
- Desktop
  - Single Player – use the left and right arrow keys to move left and right, the up arrow key to jump, and either Z or X to shoot.
    - The Z key does a straight shot.
    - The X key does a loft shot.
    - Two Players
      - First Player – jump with the W key, move left with the A key, move right with the D key.
        Shoot with the N or M keys.
        The N key does a straight shot.
        The M shot does a loft shot.
        Second Player – use the left and right arrow keys to move left and right, the up arrow key to jump, and either 1 or 2 to shoot.
        The 1 key does a straight shot.
        The 2 key does a loft shot.
        Touchscreen devices
        Use the on-screen controls.
        The moving left and right buttons are in the lower left corner of the screen.
        The jump button is in the lower right corner of the screen.
        The straight shot and loft shot buttons are left of the jump button.
        This game is easier to play on a desktop computer as the jump and move buttons are close together while the shoot button is in another position. On mobile the jump and shoot buttons are near each other and are on the other side of the interface from the move left and right buttons.
        On mobile you can only play in single player mode.
        Controls & indicators
        In the top center the scoreboard shows the score of each team and how much time remains.
        In the upper left corner of the game there is a home button.
        In the upper right corner of the game there is a sound control button.
        Game Play
        Matches
        Each match consists of a single 44 seconds period.
        Whoever has the high score at the end of the period wins.
        If the score is tied you immediately go into sudden death overtime where the first person who scores the next goal wins.
        When you play against the computer the computer gets the ball first at the beginning of the game.
        After each score the team that was scored on gets the ball next.
        Tournaments
        If you play in single player mode the game is formatted as a 5 match tournament.
        The first two matches are easy, the next two are normal, and the final match is hard.
        If you lose any match it is game over.
        Strategy
        This game favors a defensive & conservative play strategy.
        It is quite easy to accidentally score an own goal, particularly if the ball gets behind you.
        It is best to spend most of the game flush against your own goal & quickly return to that position any time you do not have control of the ball.
        It rarely makes sense to move out past midfield as it leaves your goal open for an easy score by the opponent.
        When you have the lead you can run the clock while holding the ball.
        If the ball is along the ground it often makes sense to make a loft shot & if the ball already has some bounce to it then it typically makes sense to do a straight shot.
        After shooting run back toward your own goal so that you can defend counters.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for players who like simple soccer games.
        The game has no adult themed content.
